How can I be reimbursed for my latex corset/vest?
Stella’s Corset has a Medical Device License #4601 from Health Canada for our Latex Line. If you have extended health care coverage you may be covered. You may need a prescription from your doctor first. For more specifics on what you may need or if you are covered please call your extended health care provider. Stella’s Corset will provide you with an estimate letter upon request and a receipt at checkout to send in to your insurance company.
How do I choose the right product for me?
Our friendly and knowledgeable staff can assist you with choosing the right product. Come in to one of our locations or call 1-800-774-0269. If you are planning to wear one of our undergarments under something specific please bring it in with you.
I just had a baby. What product is best for me?
Our Latex Line is highly recommended after you have your baby. You may also use any one of our Powernet products. For women who had vaginal birth either is great to use right after, for those who had a c-section it is recommended to use any of the Powernet products without the boning for the first month.
I just had surgery. Can I use your products?
Yes, our Powernet Line (excluding products with boning) is designed for post operatory recuperation, post plastic surgery, breast enhancement or reduction, liposuction and tummy tucks.
Is it normal for me to feel discomfort while wearing the corset?
Your body may need time to get use to the product as it is meant to be worn fitted. If uncomfortable for you wear the undergarment for about 2 hours then remove it for about 20-30 minutes and put on again.
Why does my corset smell?
New latex could have a strong smell to it at the beginning. Remove and discard packaging. Hang to air out new material odor. Spray the lining with a fabric freshner and let air dry.
How do I care for my corset?
After each use lay the corset flat to air dry. Never role up and store it! Our latex corsets and vests are to be hand washed only! You can use gentle detergent with a cloth or sponge. Never leave to soak in water, put in washer or dryer or dry in direct sunlight! Lay flat to dry.
Machine or hand wash in cold water with like colors. Hang to dry. Do not put it in the dryer.
Our Butt Lifter Jeans and or capris can be machine washed and dried.
Will my product shrink after washing?
No, your product will not shrink after washing if you follow care directions.
Why was I recommended a 2xl if I am a size large?
All our undergarments are made small. They are corset sizes not regular sizes.
