Natural waist

Stand upright in front of a mirror. Find the narrowest part of your torso — roughly one inch above your navel. Wrap the tape measure around that point, keeping it level.

Important: Keep the tape snug, not tight. You should be able to slide one finger underneath. Measuring too tightly is the most common sizing mistake.

Always go up. Colombian fajas are designed to compress, so a size up will still give you firm support while being more comfortable - especially if it's your first faja.
Go one size up from what our calculator suggests. During the first 2-3 weeks post-surgery, your body may be swollen and needs gentler compression. After healing, you can go down to your calculated size.
Yes — each brand and product line uses its own sizing chart. That's why our calculator lets you select the brand first. Stella's Corset shapewear, jeans, waist trainers and sportswear all use different sizing systems. Fajas Salome and Snatched Body have their own charts too.
